Mr. Kazam is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing on the company’s life science real estate acquisition and development activity. Since joining Breakthrough in 2019, he helped grow its property portfolio and pipeline to over five million square feet in top life science clusters across the U.S. and Europe. Prior to joining Breakthrough, Mr. Kazam played a key role in establishing the Breakthrough platform at Tishman Speyer. While at Tishman Speyer, Mr. Kazam also helped lead $3B of acquisitions and financings, and managed pre-development of Tishman Speyer’s Hudson Yards properties, including a 2.8M square foot iconic tower anchored by Pfizer. Mr. Kazam received an MBA from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University.
