Christian Heimple is Senior Vice President, Design and Construction for Breakthrough Properties. Prior to Breakthrough, Christian oversaw the construction of new commercial, retail, and residential properties in Brookfield’s New York City region including the company’s One Manhattan West project, a 2.1 million square foot commercial office tower located in the Hudson Yards District of Manhattan, the Retail at Manhattan West including a 2-acre public plaza, and Hudson Exchange, a new 18-acre residential development in Jersey City, New Jersey that encompasses over 6 million square feet of development. Previously, Christian managed the renovation of Brookfield Place, formerly World Financial Center, including the renovation of 250 Vesey Street, and the repositioning and renovation of 250,000 square feet of retail areas.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2011, Christian spent time at Tishman Speyer and Thornton Tomasetti. He is a licensed professional engineer in the state of New York and holds a bachelor’s of science degree from Lehigh University and master’s of science degree from Stanford University.
